Dr. Björn Krondorfer, PH.D Director of the Martin-Springer Institute at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Endowed Professor of Religious Studies in the Department of Comparative Cultural Studies. Field of expertise is religion and gender, (post-) Holocaust studies, and reconciliation studies. Recipient of the Norton Dodge Award for Scholarly and Creative Achievements. Nationally and internationally facilitation of intercultural encounters and works on reconciliation and social repair. Delivery of the Jerome Cardin Memorial Lecture at Loyola University, Baltimore (2012), and the William Temple Lecture as the first non-Muslim speaker at the Jaamiatul-ilm Wal-Huda (Islamic College) in conjunction with Blackburn Cathedral, UK. Since 2003, he collaborates on art projects and exhibits with visual artist Karen Baldner. Publications include Male Confessions: Intimate Revelations and the Religious Imagination (Stanford), Men and Masculinities in Christianity and Judaism (London), and Remembrance and Reconciliation (Yale). Publication also inlcude three volumes in German on the cultural and theological legacy of the Holocaust.
